PRIDE GUIDE 1995 GAY PEOPLE's ChronicLE 21

Park your own car when Jamie Anderson comes to Toledo

On Friday, June 16, Tallulah's in Toledo will present "Singer-Songwriter-Comedienne-Parking lot attendant" Jamie Anderson in concert.

Voted all-time favorite performer by the readers of Hot Wire, a national journal of women's music and culture, as well as favorite songwriter, emcee, and best baton twirler, Anderson is a versatile performer who has been touring nationally since 1987. She has played in everything from coffee houses to concert halls in over 80 cities in 40 United States, Canada, Mexico, and the West Indies. She has performed in folk

festivals and at almost every women's music festival in the U.S. In 1993, she played at the National March on Washington for Gay, Lesbian and Bi Rights.

"Jamie's expressive voice and personable stage manner is an asset to any stage. She loves to perform-just don't ask her to park any cars," said her manager.

Tickets to the 8 pm show are available at Tallulah's, 6940 W. Central Ave.; and at People Called Women, 3153 W. Central Ave. Advance tickets are $10.00, $12.00 at the door. For more information, call 419843-7707.
